The Salute - Armin - Attack on Titan

Hello.

So, can I just take a moment to discuss the salute for these soldiers?
Do you guys realize that EVERY TIME they are saluting, they are stabbing themselves in the heart? Every salute is a declaration: "I am prepared to die."

That just...blew my mind... I also think that the hand behind their back ends up stabbing the kidney area, which of course if you were stabbed there, you would die quickly....Am I thinking about this too much? Yes? Okay.

And I drew Armin because he's my favorite character. He's everything I wish Sakura could be. He's a very smart character that isn't really weak, but appears to be because he compares his strength to others, but I was so freaking happy when he finally said, "Wait a second, Mikasa and Eren don't think I'm weak... I've been shooting myself down..." He was smart enough to know it was in his head....but he's also very human. I don't mind when he cries...I feel for him.

I really wish Sakura Haruno would've gotten a clue sooner like he did...but hey...yeah.
